Matthew M. Borders is a Spokane, Washington native and started his financial advisory career in Spokane in 2004. From 2007 to 2009, Matt worked alongside his father, Garry E. Borders, as an associate manager for Beneficial Financial Group, recruiting, hiring and training new advisers in the industry. Since 2010, Matt has focused primarily on retirement income and investment planning with his clients.

A graduate of Eastern Washington University, Matt has been involved in numerous industry and community organizations, including the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, GAMA International, Boy Scouts of America, Spokane Chapter of the BYU Management Society and Spokane Public Schools Public Advisory Committee. He and his wife, Rachel, have five children.
